The unique nature of a shared island absolutely warrants an island tour. Celeste did not dissapoint with her knowledge, hospitality and personality! The island is stunningly beautiful and I could imagine how much more beauty is revealed when skies are clear and sunny (we had a cloudy day sadly)! Give Thanks for the experience!

I appreciated that you were able to accommodate our need to change times. Due to the change we were the only ones on the tour. Tony was very knowledgeable about both sides of the island. He was also very friendly . He let us spend time where we wanted to spend time. I highly recommend this company and especially Tony .

Such an incredible experience. Well worth it and would definitely recommend. In just a few hours we were able to tour both the Dutch side of the island and the French side. At each stop there was something cool to see or do and by far the tour was the best part of our trip! The tour guide was very knowledgeable, kind and funny and made the entire experience all the more memorable. Will definitely be back!

Our tour started with a pickup from Celeste. We were pleasantly surprised, because we thought it would be a bus full of other guest. Just us! Even tho the tour had outlined stops, Celeste personalized the tour for us. She pulled over at some places that we wanted to see. She answered all of our questions about the Dutch and French side as well as questions we asked about the school systems, churches, traffic etc. Celeste was so friendly and knowledgeable. We highly recommend Presidential tours(Celeste). We learned so much about St Maarten from someone who truly loves her island and her job! Thanks Celeste for a wonderful Monday spent with us on St Maarten.

This was our second time in St. Maarten, however, the tour provided by Serge(spelling?) with Presidential Tours was awesome!!! Serge was welcoming, informative, engaging and really took care of our group. We were provided with an orange/red carpet welcome and offered water, soda and of course rum punch, which was absolutely delicious!! I loved that we were able to see more sites on the French side because we didn't have that opportunity before. Overall this tour was definitely the “BEST ISLAND TOUR” experience that we had on this cruise, thanks to Serge!!!

All I was thinking about was taking photos at Maho beach but this tour provided so much more with several beach, food, rum factory, and other scenic stops. I’ll start and finish with our awesome guide/driver Terry who was knowledgeable on the history of the island and quite humorous. He provided us ample time at each stop to take photos, rest, relax or swim at the beach, and eat. Included drinks were a surprise bonus. Big thank you Terry for stopping in the middle of the road to be sure we got the commercial flyover everyone was hoping to capture. I’m sorry I missed the rum punch but I’ll be sure to get it next time.

The Best. On time, Very Professional. Celeste was my driver. Knew the whole island extremely well. Got to see attractions from both countries. Got to see, fishes, turtles, iguanas and even a monkey. Visited both capital cities and able to shop. Visited so many beaches. She was knowledgeable of the history and culture. The best 5 hour tour you can have. Recommending this company to my coworkers, friends and family when they visit.

Excellent tour of Sint Maarten and St. Martin. Celeste was my driver and she was on time, very professional, great knowledge of both countries, safe driver, knew everywhere to take you. Visited the two capitals, many attractions and plenty of beaches. Many places to shop and food places. 5 great hours of exploring the island and even seen the plane landing in Maho. Overall, a great experience for what it was - a private driving tour of the island. I’m not sure the tour guide was quite the historian advertised but he did a great job explaining basic history and the neat cultural nuances between the French and Dutch sides of the island. We had two small kids with us as well as a mobility impaired grandparent and the tour guide was accommodating and helped us gauge how feasible each stop was for us. I wouldn’t need to do the tour again but as an area familiarization early in your trip, I highly recommend it. I actually identified a part of the island for a dinner date with my husband I would never have done/seen had it not been for the tour so that’s an example of the value of doing the tour earlier in your trip.

Rick is simple the best. the red carpet the flower necklaces. St. Maarten Presidential Tours has outdone the competition. i never experienced anything like this before. great service from start to finish. ooowee the free drinks onboard and the rum punch with their logo. oooh baby these guys are the best tour guides, best island tour operator. 5 stars
A nice island tour with a lot of info

We had Frederic for our guide and he did a great job with what we did. I would have preferred to stop a bit more. We didn't do the French Bakery, Rum distillery or Cheese shop like a lot of the reviews mentioned. We did see a lot of the island and got a lot of history and information about what is going on there. We stopped to feed iguanas, had 90 min at orient Bay, drove thru Grand Case, stopped in Marigot with shopping on our own for less than an hour. Next was Maho Bay for 75-90 mins. We saw a couple of smaller airplanes. The beach was at high tide it was really small and steep and crowded but I was still glad to see something I heard a lot about. After that he drove back to the ship. We left about 930 and got back about 345 to get back on the ship. We were supplied with water, sodas, rum punch and beer to drink. I enjoyed chatting with Frederick and he had a very upbeat personality.

Nice way to see some highlights of the island. Time at orient beach was great but wish it had of been longer and maybe lunch there rather than the capital area. Well worth the $ compared with other tours. We had 12 in our group so not a bad size.

We took this excursion while cruising through the Southern Caribbean on Royal Caribbean. As with most of the shore excursions on this cruise, it took a little work to find the excursion departure point. But once we found it everything went smoothly. Our tour guide was Freddy, and he piloted a (somewhat cramped) 20-seat bus, that did have decent A/C (and a fully-stocked cooler up front). Freddy was a wealth of information regarding both the French and Dutch sides of the island. The tour was 3-4h long, and took us along the coast, over the mountains, and around the entire mountain. We hit the major tour stops (Orient Beach, Maho Beach) and Freddy provided plenty of color commentary along the way. The beach stops were extended (and hour at Orient and 45 min at Maho). This was a much better tour than a couple others we took on the cruise. Recommended

Good tour. I agree with other reviews about unclear instructions or a clear map for correct pick up location. Frustration at the beginning of the tour is not ideal. Appreciated the many refreshments offered.
