I am so scared of heights! However, I really enjoy this. I was tempted to do the zipline too but next time. The staff was very professional.
Stairs but Amazing Views!

Seven of us on Saturday took the chair lift to the overlook platforms. Just stunning and amazing views in all directions. Cannot recommend this highly enough! Not to be missed!

Must be able to climb stairs! There is a bar at the top where the big zip line launches from. You have to get to that point to catch the chair lift back down anyway!
Great, Way to See the Whole Island

We had been to St. Maarten a few times several years ago, but this was the first time we tried this activity - actually I'm not sure it was there back then. It's a smooth, peaceful chairlift ride up to a plateau and then you take a second, much shorter ride to the second plateau where you would do the zipline if you wanted to. I'm a bit too old for that, but very much enjoyed the ride and great scenic views. You can climb even a bit higher than the second plateau for some awesome scenery and great photo ops. The employees are super nice and friendly and there are plenty of them to ensure your safety and enjoyment of the ride. It's a bit expensive, which is the only reason I gave it four instead of five stars. And, yes, there is a weight requirement for the chairlift so best to read up on this before buying tickets for children.
Good views

Enjoyable peaceful climb to the top. Fantastic views of the island. Very windy on top. There was an option to do the zip wire but we weren’t that brave!
Great views, not worth the price!

Although the views from the top were absolutely amazing, I thought this was a little pricey for what you got. You’re basically paying for a chair lift to the top of the mountain. Plus the 2 tube rides, which each lasted less than a minute. The tube rides starts about a third of the way up the hill so it is very short. There is a small one room museum, plus a gift shop and a restaurant on site. There was a bar at the top of the hill as well. So probably not worth what I paid, but got great pictures.

The actual zip line was amazing, and definitely recommend if you’re a thrill seeker. The staff were incredible, super friendly, and very supportive as we were pretty nervous after the gondola ride to the top. Almost backed out, but the talked us through our nerves, and the zip line was the fastest way off the mountain so it just made the most sense. If you are afraid of heights then this is probably not for you. It’s a pretty small peak you are on at the top, and it’s pretty windy so can make you feel a little uneasy. The only reason I’m not giving this 4 or 5 stars is because Viator did not advise us to wear closed toe shoes. We didn’t even think about it because we have been barefoot of or in flip flops the whole time on the island. As a result, we were only allowed to do the zip line so missed out of all other aspects of the experience. The staff offered to let us come back another day to do those parts, but we had other plans so couldn’t do it…and no refunds. So be sure to bring closed toe shoes, and enjoy!
